With a population of 1.4 billion, China is the largest market with the greatest potential in the world. It is estimated that the cumulative volume of commodity imports in the next 10 years is expected to exceed 2.2 billion dollars. At present, the proportion of imported bulk commodities in the diet of Chinese residents is increasing. While China's demand is growing rapidly, China's grain production is facing many challenges, such as cost inversion and environmental overload. In recent years, in the face of new situations and on the basis of ensuring the absolute safety of food rations, China has taken the import of bulk commodities as an integral part of its food security strategy.

The Chinese government has successively introduced strategic policies to promote the import of bulk commodities, such as the "the Belt and Road". The central government put forward the policy of importing agricultural products in China (No. 1 central document) to actively expand the import of domestic agricultural products in short supply and expand diversified import channels. This project is beneficial to the country and the people, conforms to the laws of national economic development and is conducive to the long-term development of the company.

Under the background of this project, after two years of preliminary preparation, the company participated in the 2021 China International Import Expo as the foreshadowing for the project launch. At the end of 2021, the company had assigned relevant colleagues to Senegal, Africa, to complete the construction and procurement of local companies.
