Peanut is widely used, mainly for oil (50.47%), edible (46.83%), feed (6.8%) three main uses in China.
1) Edible function: The deep processed peanut products in China mainly include peanut butter, peanut drinks and peanut protein. Peanut butter is mainly used for export and is increasingly popular in the domestic market. Peanut drinks have the fragrance of peanut, without the beany and astringent taste of soybean milk, and are easily accepted by consumers. There are many kinds of peanut protein products, mainly including powdered peanut protein, such as peanut flour, protein concentrate, and protein isolate.

2) Oil function: The main use of peanuts is still oil pressing, and the amount of peanuts used for oil accounts for 53% of the flower production. Among oil crops in China, the oil yield of peanut is about 40%, and the oil yield of peanut is the highest among oil crops.
